It’s another short but exciting update from the Sites Done Right team. We’re proud to release template libraries to all customers on our platform – allowing you to build new blogs, pages, case studies – in fact any type of content by choosing from a set of starter templates.
What makes our feature stand out from other page builders is that our system will automatically show you a preview that matches your branding guidelines – so the page you end up with requires less edits and changes.
It all goes back to our core principle of helping you focus on content whilst we focus on making your site work better than ever.
Getting started is simpler than you might think. You can make use of the template library by adding a new page (or any other content type for that matter).
Just hover over the + button in your Sites Done Right dashboard when logged in to choose the content type you’d like to create.
Next up you’ll be presented with a page showing the available templates for the current content type. You’ll be able to either preview a template (as it would appear with your branding) by clicking the
PREVIEW THIS TEMPLATE button or alternatively get into action using the template by clicking the
USE THIS TEMPLATE button.
Preview this template
When choosing a template to use on your site, it always helps to see it in action first. Each template available will have a preview option as below:
Once clicked, a new page will open up for you to see the template in its full glory:
You’ll notice a button to
GENEARATE FROM TEMPLATE when previewing a design. This will perform the same action as the
USE THIS TEMPLATE button in the dashboard.
Use this template
A popup box will load where you can choose the title of the new page you’re creating. We’ll populate the necessary parts of your content with this information.
Do note, we’ve launched with over 20 templates to choose from, but more will be added each week to the repository. If you have any designs you’d like us to incorporate, submit a ticket to our team.
So there you have it – another quality upgrade from the Sites Done Right team.
How have you found building pages using the new template library? Do you feel there are any tweaks we can apply to make things even more proficient?
