In light of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which come into force on the 25th May 2018, we know there’s probably a lot of running around trying to ensure your business is compliant with the new regulations which form part of EU Law.
of your annual turnover could be forfeited for a lack of GDPR compliance
One thing we’d love to notify you of is that as a Sites Done Right customer we’ve got you covered as far as most operations conducted via your website are concerned. In ensuring compliance to our customers, we’ve gone that extra mile to produce a dynamic privacy policy for your site and its functions.
Consumers and citizens have stronger rights to be informed about how organisations use their personal data.
In knowing that each customer we have uses the platform differently, we’ve been able to dynamically include and eliminate privacy policy sections dependent upon what features you have enabled in your specific install.
Put simply, let's say you had Google Analytics switched on but not our AddThis integration, then Google Analytics will be displayed in your privacy policy whereas AddThis won’t. Now, not to honk our own trumpet, but we’re sure you’d agree this is fantastic functionality to access in the long run!
Just think, as you apply changes and introduce new supported components (whether they be extensions, add-ons or 3rd party integrations), you’ll get new policy sections immediately added en masse.
Acknowledging the range of clients we work with across many trades, professional and interrelated sectors, we know there may be additional terms and conditions which may require inclusion into your privacy policy. This may be based on the use of either 3rd party software, offline or even physical document storage.
As such, the team at Sites Done Right have provided the flexibility for you to place additional comments and apply further stipulations to your arrangement. This fundamentally means that you have the power to create a policy which is suited to your customs, practices and procedures, in next to no time.
