Sites Done Right was built with a view in mind of continually adding functionality and features that would support the widest reach of our community. Each month our Development Team and customer success team take on board the feedback of customers across a wide range of verticals and look at the features requested which will have the widest impact on the community whether that be to save time and improve efficiency or to help with marketing efforts and improving conversions.
It is with this in mind that we are excited to announce the launch of some time-saving features to allow images to be imported to your media library and website with ease.
You spoke and we listened! Making use of the media library in Sites Done Right can feel tedious when managing lots of images. Often you want to make use of a screenshot or copy and paste an image from an external source.
Historically you would have to download the image to your desktop first and then upload it to your media library – not any more. Simply right click on the image you would like to make use of from any site (please ensure you have permission to use the photo) and press copy. From here you can load your media library, an image field or any WYSIWYG editor on your site and press paste. That’s it – the image will be added in place and also stored in your media library for future use.
You can make use of this image based feature with screenshots also. Using the snip and sketch tool in Windows, or pressing print screen on your keyboard will achieve the same action. Whatever images on your clipboard can be pasted into your media library or website in just one click.
